Mohsen Zarif Pooya
Notes from my journey: life, work, and learning
This is me. I’m Mohsen, 36 years old, and I’ve been working since I was 10.
Yes, I am, I do, I can.
I believe that with small, consistent efforts and persistence, I can achieve anything I aim for. I have many stories to tell, but this is the starting point of my new journey, a step toward a new professional path.
I want to share my experiences and reflections as I move forward.
It won’t be easy, but I truly believe it will be interesting and enjoyable.

Another Book: The Cheese and the Worms
Nowadays, I’m reading a book about life in Europe 500 years ago. The book is called The Cheese and the Worms by Carlo Ginzburg. It tells the story of an Italian miller who lived in a small village during the 16th century.

The story begins in a court, where this simple man tries to defend himself against charges of heresy. He lives a normal life, renting a small mill, supporting his family, and working hard to survive. But he also thinks deeply. He has questions. And just because of these questions, he almost loses everything.
What fascinates me most is how the book brings attention to normal people during one of the darkest times in European history. It’s not about kings, scientists, or famous names. It’s about a man who tries to think differently. Reading this book makes me imagine his world: the fear, the curiosity, and the quiet struggle of people who just wanted to understand more.
I think what makes this story timeless is how it reminds us that asking questions is never wrong, and it’s how progress begins. That’s why I enjoy reading stories like this: they remind me that curiosity has a price, but also a purpose.
